Certification: Advanced Ground Instructor

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Advanced Ground Instructor certificate authorizes an individual to provide ground training. Advanced Ground Instructors provide ground training on the aeronautical knowledge areas required for the issuance of any certificate or rating under this part except for the aeronautical knowledge areas required for an instrument rating; ground training required for any flight review except for the training required for an instrument rating; and provides recommendation for a knowledge test required for the issuance of any certificate or rating except for an instrument rating. Applicants must meet experience requirements. Applicants must pass a written exam.
