This credential is confirmation of mastery of instruments used in laboratory sciences including micropipettes that measure volumes in the 1ul-10ul, 10ul-100ul, 100ul-1000ul ranges and serological pipettes and pipette assist pumps for volumes up to 25ml. Trainees are tested in the laboratory using the instruments to measure three different volumes in four aliquots to determine that they have mastery of the instruments and can deliver volumes accurately and consistently.
