All applicants must be diplomates in good standing of the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Diplomates of ABPM and other ABMS member boards must submit their applications to ABPM.<br>Physicians attain certification in the subspecialty of Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine by meeting the requirements set forth in the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Eligibility Criteria for Certification and Recertification, by fulfilling specific credential requirements of their primary board, and by successfully completing the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine subspecialty certification examination.
