Becoming a CRI Charter holder communicates the breadth and depth of your knowledge and experience to the marketplace. Additionally, the ethics-based component of the CRI Program demonstrates your adherence to the highest ethical standards in the performance of your duties. Unlike other programs that signify knowledge or expertise in a particular specialty, the CRI Certification signifies a broad understanding of all of the major components of real estate investing including property issues, analysis and valuation, underwriting, due diligence, capital market instruments, asset management and ethical conduct.

  2. The certification has an education level of an Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree or higher, but has a work experience requirement of less than 2 years of work experience.
  3. The certification has a work experience requirement of more than 2 years but does not require a two-year Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree.
