License: Chiropractor

The Colorado Board of Chiropractic Examiners regulates individual chiropractors and chiropractic licenses. A licensed chiropractor may hold three (3) different authorities: acupuncture, electrotherapy, and animal,in conjunction with his or her chiropractic license. The Board meets regularly to approve license applications and enforce the chiropractic rules, regulations, and practice act that governs the profession and is authorized to take disciplinary action against those who have violated the Chiropractic Practice Act, Rules, and Regulations. The Board reviews complaints about chiropractors and utilizes the Division's Office of Investigations to investigate complaints when necessary.
