License: Exercise Physiologist

- Must be at least 21 years of age. - Must be of good moral character. - Must be a citizen of the United States or possess a valid and current legal authority to reside and work in the Unisted States, duly issued by the commissioner of Immigration and Naturalization of the United States under and pursuant to the Immigration and Nationality Act (66 Stat. 163) and the commissioner's regulations thereunder (8 CFR). - Must have successfully completed a Masters of Science degree or a Master of Education degree in an exercise studies curriculum at an accredited school, which school at the time of the applicant's graduation, was approved by the American College of Sports Medicine or the board. - Must be certified as an exercise specialist (or registered clinical exercise physiologist) by the American College of Sports Medicine, having taken and successfully passed the ACSM certifying examination, as administered by ACSM or by the board pursuant to Subchapter D of these rules. - Must have successfully completed an internship of 300 hours in exercise physiology under the supervision of a licensed exercise physiologist.
