To obtain an Audiology License, an applicant must hold the equivalent of a U.S. master's or doctoral degree in audiology. Those without a doctor of audiology degree must complete at least 9 months (1,260 hours) of supervised clinical experience in audiology. Additionally, an applicant must submit a license application with fee ($286.40), undergo a fingerprint/criminal background check, and pass the PRAXIS exam. Licenses must be renewed every 2 years.
