A manicurist must complete not less than 400 hours of training in a licensed school of cosmetology or perform a 6-month apprenticeship program within a licensed cosmetology establishment. A manicurist must pass the required theory and practical examination administered by PSI Services, LLC (PSI). Licenses expire biennially, the renewal fee is $48.00.
