License: Electrologist Instructor

To receive an Electrology Instructor License in Michigan, an applicant must have attained a high school diploma or its equivalent, have a current Michigan electrologist license, and have at least 3 years of practical experience in electrology (which includes 1 year in a cosmetology establishment holding a limited license for the practice of electrologist). Finally, the applicant must have at least 300 hours of instructor training, and must pass the theory and practical examination administered by PSI Services. Upon completion of these requirements, an applicant can then submit an Instructor License application along with the appropriate fee ($63.00).
