To receive a Professional Engineers License from the State of Michigan, an applicant must attain a bachelor's or master's degree from a an accredited school and program and possess four years or more of acceptable engineering work experience AFTER having received a bachelor's degree. Additionally, an applicant must pass the Fundamentals of Engineering NCEES examination ($225 cost) as well as the Principles of Engineering NCEES examination ($350). Upon completion of these requirements, an applicant must submit an online license application along with the $75.00 application fee.
