<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>Land Surveyors measure the distance, direction, and angle between two points and the elevation of points, lines, and contours on the earth’s surface. They research legal records and look for evidence of previous boundaries.Surveyors plan the fieldwork, select survey reference points, and determine the precise location ofany natural or constructed features in the survey project area.The surveyor will record the results of the survey and verify the accuracy of the data in addition topreparation of plats, maps, charts, and reports for legal documentation.<br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br>The applicant must have at least six years of surveying experience, of which at least three must have been in a responsible position.Credit may be given for education that has been approved by the Board.<br><h3>Fees</h3><br>Application Fee- $40.00Registration Fee- $100.00<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>Renewal is required biennially. The renewal fee is $100.00.Completion of 30 hours of professional development is required to qualify for renewal.
