<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>Real Estate Salespersons, for some type of compensation (usually as an independent contractor), negotiate or attempt to secure prospects for the listing, sale, purchase, exchange, rent, lease, or option for any real estate (land) and improvements thereon.They perform such duties as interviewing prospective clients, discussing conditions of the sale, and completing real estate contracts.They must work under the supervision of a licensed Real Estate Broker.<br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br>Applicants must:1. Be at least 19 years of age;2. Have a high school diploma or its equivalent;3. Submit his or her fingerprints to obtain a current criminal background report;4. Complete two courses, not less than 30 hours each, of approved real estate education; and a six hour course 0003, Professional Practice Standards 5. Pass the licensing examination.<br><h3>Fees</h3><br>Application & Examination Fee- $285.00Salesperson License Fee- $80.00<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>Renewal is required biennially. The current renewal fee is $160.00.
