License: Sanitarian-In-Training and Environmental (RPSIT/RPESIT)

JOB DESCRIPTION: A sanitarian-in-training is one who meets all requirements of a fully registered sanitarian except that of experience to effectively plan, organize, manage, execute, and evaluate one or more of the many diverse elements comprising the field of environmental health. Sanitarian-in-training may be training to be an environmentalist, an environmental sanitarian, or an environmental program specialist. Employment for a sanitarian-in-training is normally in various branches of the state and federal government.
