CERTIFIED GENERAL APPRAISERS<br><br>A certified general appraiser inspects properties and impartially prepares written or oral certified appraisal reports setting forth an opinion as to the market value of an adequately described property as of a specific date supported by the presentation and analysis of relevant market information. They can appraise all types of real property. REQUIREMENTS: Satisfy the education, experience, and examination requirements, pledge to comply with the standards set forth by statute, and an understanding of the types of misconduct which can bring about disciplinary action. <br><br>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br>Complete a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university and complete 300 hours of qualifying education courses in appraisal-related subjects specified by the Commission. <br><br>EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 3,000 hours over a minimum period of 30 months, in conformance with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice, documented in an experience log. <br><br> EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: Pass a state examination.
