MASTER BARBER INSTRUCTOR <br><br>A registered master barber certified by the board as a barber instructor. <br><br>PROSPECTIVE:<br> No barber school or college may operate without the presence of a registered barber instructor. A barber school must have at least one registered barber instructor or barber instructor assistant for every 15 students enrolled, and must have one licensed barber instructor for each barber instruction assistant. <br><br>REQUIREMENTS: <br>Hold a valid certificate of registration as a master barber, having been duly registered as a master barber for a period of at least three years and/or having completed a 450 hour instructor training program at a board certified barber school, and meet the education, continuing education, and examination requirements. <br><br>EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: <br>Completion of twelfth grade in an accredited school or equivalent. <br><br>EXAMINATION REQUIREMENTS: <br>Successful completion of an examination prescribed by the board. <br><br>CONTINUING EDUCATION: <br>Attendance every two years in a barber instructor training program of at least twenty-four hours duration which has been approved by the board.
