Requirements 1.Of majority age. 2.Satisfy requirements established by the Board. 3.Complete an entry-level athletic training education program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Athletic Training Education (CAATE) or complete the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) internship program. 4.Pass the BOC exam. 5.Pass the State Board of Athletic Training jurisprudence exam. 6. Must have a supervising physician. Restrictions Conviction of a felony or misdemeanor conviction involving moral turpitude. Fraudulently obtaining a license. Negligence. Conviction of an offense involving a controlled substance.
