Major requirements for new license: be 18 or older, Be a resident of Puerto Rico for a period of no less than one year, have no penal record, have no outstanding child support debt, have a certificante completion and approval of a 60-hour Real Estate course at an approved institution, passage of exams, bond for the amount of $10,000.00 effective for the four years, authorization to use the escrow account by your employer, have a High School Diploma or equivalent conferred, payment of $200
