The Wastewater Treatment Operator Class IV exam will test you on essential job tasks. These job tasks have been categorized into the Content Areas detailed in the following pages.   3. The certification has a work experience requirement of more than 2 years but does not require a two-year Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree.
