The Association of Boards of Certification (ABC), Wastewater Treatment Operator - Class III is a mid-career level biological wastewater treatment operator certification. Wastewater Treatment Operators demonstrate an understanding of the treatment process, laboratory analysis, equipment operation and maintenance, source water characteristics, and security, safety, compliance, and administrative procedures. Candidates must meet education and experience requirements. Candidates must pass a written exam.
