Prepares individuals to apply process control system safety procedures; interpret process control system documentation; interpret instrument tags; connect and adjust a pneumatic proportional valve and I/P converter; manually operate a loop controller; connect and configure an analog liquid level sensor/transmitter; connect and configure an analog flow sensor/transmitter; connect, configure and operate a process meter; connect, program, and operate a loop controller in closed-loop mode; program and operate loop controller to perform discrete I/O functions; and tune a closed-loop system to improve response.
