Prepares individuals to connect, configure, program, adjust, monitor, and operate programmable logic controller (PLC) systems that use distributed I/O via Ethernet, serial data communications, Modbus communication protocol, and Statement List programming language. Other key skills include: programming/interpreting PLC-to-PLC data communications via Ethernet/IP and interpreting PLC programs with PID instructions, data arrays, string data, and data conversion instructions.
