Certification: Feed Management Certification

The requirements for Feed Management Certification are: 1) be a current member PAS or RAS in the species that you are taking the exam in, 2) complete feed management workshop of The National Feed Management Project, 3) pass the feed management exam, and 4) maintain yearly continuing education credits with at least four hours of the sixteen hours required devoted to feed management.

The exam will have 75% of questions devoted to general feed management and 25% of feed management questions specific to the species (Dairy, Beef, Swine, or Poultry) requested by the certification candidate. Initial requests for feed management certification in multiple species will be handled by administering one expanded exam.

The certification has an education level of an Associates of Arts or Associates of Sciences degree or higher and has a work experience requirement of more than 2 years, or requires obtaining a ‘core’ level certification from the same organization.
