<h3>Occupational Description</h3><br>The Certified Legal Video Specialist (CLVS) is designed for legal videographers to showcase proficiency in video deposition practices. The CLVS program sets and enforces standards for competency in the capture, utilization, and retention of legal video and promotes awareness of these standards within the legal marketplace. Legal videographers partner with court reporters to ensure the integrity of both the video of legal proceedings and the official transcript.<br><h3>Licensure Requirements</h3><br>1. Online Mandatory Education Course2. Written Knowledge Test - 100 multiple-choice questions3. Production Exam - Actual mock depo recording that is graded4. Maintain annual renewal fee and 1.0 CEUs every three years<br><h3>Fees</h3><br>Mandatory Online Education Course Fee- $350.00 (NCRA members); $450.00 (Non-members) Written Knowledge Test Fee- $200.00 (NCRA members); $230.00 (Non-members) Production Exam Fee- $325.00 (NCRA members); $425.00 (Non-members)<br><h3>Renewal</h3><br>CLVS credential holders must earn 1.0 CEUs every three years and pay an annual renewal fee to remain current.
