They maintain equipment and Department of Transportation (DOT) records. They interact with clients for load pick-up and delivery. Requirements 1.Must be at least 18 years old to drive in the state and at least 21 years old to drive interstate. 2.DOT Physical. 3.Pass the state Commercial Drivers License (CDL) exam, written and practical. Restrictions Must be found medically qualified to drive by a certified medical examiner.
