The Equipment and Engine Training Council offers the Principles of Small Engine Technology Certification, designed to introduce the next generation of entry-level small engine technicians to the industry. Learners can earn this certification while in secondary school. It verifies competency in industry-standard equipment and tools needed to enter the outdoor power equipment industry.
