The Certified Safety Supervisor (CSS) is for individuals with two years experience in the safety field. Certification is awarded to those supervisors who have the ability to carry out policy and program directives. Supervisors are expected to administer programs, provide leadership and engage in the development of programs and materials within limitations established by their managers. The certification includes two exams: Motor Fleet Safety Basics (Testing option available) and Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs.
